The Bernard McDonough Foundation is partnering with Marshall Health’s Addiction Sciences to convene community stakeholders across West Virginia to learn about evidence-based and innovative approaches found to be effective in reducing the impact of substance use. The four-hour workshops will provide county profiles with the most up-to-date local data and a presentation of novel approaches that can be tailored to any community to address prevention, early intervention, treatment, and recovery. The workshop will also provide the opportunity for attendees to identify their own communities’ assets, resources, and needs to effectively address substance use in their communities. There is no cost to attend and lunch will be provided. Each participant will receive a “City of Solutions” guidebook and copy of all presentation materials. Please join us with your community partners to explore together what is possible in your response to the substance use/opioid epidemic.”
