The Wheeling-Ohio County Health Department is offering West Virginia residents free, rapid, at-home COVID-19 test kits for a limited time.

The QuickVue at home rapid COVID-19 tests are available at the county health department, limit 2 per person.  When picking up test kits, make sure you have no COVID-19 symptoms, or recently tested positive for COVID-19.  The office hours for the county health department are 8:30am to 4:30pm.

No testing is conducted at the county health department offices in the City/County building.  Insurance covered testing is available at area MedExpress, Urgent Care and Rapid Care centers in the Ohio Valley as well as Wheeling Health Right.

Test frequently to help protect your family and our community. Anyone age 2 and older can participate. Frequent testing is especially important for those with more exposure outside the home, such as kids in school/summer activities or people who spend time in a group setting — whether vaccinated or not!
