This is a public notice from the Wheeling-Ohio County Health Department. The Wheeling-Ohio County Board of Health approved new fees during their July 13, 2021, regular meeting related to the department’s Fees for Permit for Environmental Health programs. The fees are part of WV 64CSR30, which are rules for fees for public health department permits. The new fees will be effective January 1, 2022. Permits issued on or after that date, including fixed date permits with renewal dates of January 1st will require the new fee in accordance with the Legislative rule. The department will accept written public comments regarding the revised fee schedule no later than 4:30pm on August 13, 2021. The Board of Health will review all comments at the September 14, 2021, Board of Health meeting.
